Key Responsibilities and the Cabin Crew Role

Cabin Crew members are central to the operational success and passenger experience within the Ryanair Group. The role involves ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and customer care on board. The position is demanding yet highly rewarding, requiring flexibility and commitment to a challenging schedule.

Crew members are required to operate both early and late shifts. Reporting for duty can commence as early as 05:00 on the early roster, and late shifts may conclude close to midnight. Candidates must be fully prepared to embrace a shift-based roster.

Training and Career Development

The journey to becoming a qualified Cabin Crew member begins with an intensive, internationally recognized six-week Training Course. This program equips participants with all the fundamental skills necessary to deliver top-class safety and customer service experiences.

Training involves rigorous study, regular examinations, and culminates in Supernumerary flights before the official awarding of Cabin Crew Wings.

Minimum Requirements and Candidate Profile

Candidates interested in joining the Cabin Crew team must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• The candidate must hold the unrestricted legal right to live, work, and travel freely within the European Union (EU) and throughout the entire Ryanair Network.
• Must be approximately between 157 cm (5’2”) and 188 cm (6’2”) in height.
• Must be able to swim 25 meters unaided.
• A high degree of comfort speaking and writing in English is essential.
• The ideal candidate is hardworking, flexible, and possesses an outgoing, friendly personality.
• Must be adaptable and content working a demanding shift roster, including early mornings and late nights.
• Must enjoy interacting with the public and have the ability to consistently provide excellent customer service with a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for travelling and meeting new people.
