The Role
Based at Ryanair's Headquarters in Swords, the successful candidate will become an integral part of a large, dedicated team. This critical role involves ensuring the effective and efficient planning of rosters for over 15,000 crew members across Ryanair's extensive European base network.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize cabin crew rosters to ensure operational efficiency and comprehensive flight coverage.
- Develop and maintain industry-leading roster patterns, ensuring fairness and balance for all crew members.
- Ensure all crew planning adheres strictly to flight time limitations and company standard operating procedures.
- Manage and process crew base transfers, rank advancements, and contract modifications within sophisticated crew management systems.
- Take responsibility for comprehensive roster management across multiple operational bases.
- Efficiently plan and manage annual leave and unpaid leave requests, factoring in seasonal capacity demands.
- Coordinate specific aspects of cabin crew training, ensuring ongoing qualification and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively within a team of experienced crew planners and engage with other vital departments across the Ryanair Group.
- Utilize reporting tools to generate insightful daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in numerical analysis, administrative tasks, and advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet stringent deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Possesses a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Highly organized, self-motivated individual capable of both independent initiative and collaborative teamwork, coupled with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- A demonstrated ability to prioritize a substantial workload within a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction at all organizational levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience with airline crew planning or rostering systems is highly advantageous.
