Ryanair Sun (Buzz) First Officer Position - Summer 2025

Ryanair Holdings plc, Europe's largest airline group, is seeking highly skilled and experienced First Officers to join its subsidiary, Ryanair Sun (Buzz), for the Summer 2025 operating season. The role will be based in Central and Eastern Europe.

Ryanair Sun (Buzz), a part of the Ryanair Group, operates a fleet of over 600 aircraft, connecting over 200 destinations across 40 countries. Training and Opportunities

Extensive, industry-leading training courses will commence in November 2024, providing successful candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this demanding role.

Essential Requirements

• Unrestricted right to live and work within the European Union.
• Date of birth not exceeding 65 years of age.
• Valid EASA Part FCL license.
• Valid EU (Part-MED) issued Class 1 medical certificate.
• Minimum 1,200 hours of total flying time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours on CS25 Type Aircraft.
• Minimum 800 hours on the B737-300 to 900 series.
• B737 300-900 type rating listed on the license.
• English Language Proficiency at Operational Level (Level 4) according to ICAO Doc 9835.
• Operation as a First Officer on B737 300-900 within the 36 months prior to the course start date.

Assessment and Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment, a requirement under EASA regulation CAT.GEN.MPA.175, which is conducted in two phases:

Phase 1:

An online assessment administered by AON, requiring completion of one task. A non-refundable fee of €60 applies.

Phase 2:

A comprehensive psychological assessment, forming part of the overall Simulator Assessment and Interview.

Only candidates successfully completing Phase 1 and meeting the minimum standards will progress to Phase 2.
