Essential Pilot Qualifications and Licenses
- License Requirement: The applicant must possess a current and valid EASA or UK CAA Frozen ATPL (fATPL).
- Mandatory Ratings: All candidates must hold current Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME), Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificates, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
- Type Rating: No prior type rating is required, as comprehensive initial training will be provided by Ryanair.
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate must be maintained throughout the selection process and employment.
- English Language Proficiency: The applicant must demonstrate proficiency in English at a minimum of ICAO Level 4.
Specific Flight Time and Documentation Requirements
A stringent focus is placed on the quality of a candidate's prior flight training, necessitating specific documentation:
- Flight School Report: A detailed Flight School Report is mandatory. This document must be written exclusively in English.
- Report Authentication: The report MUST be signed by the Flight School’s Head of Training (HOT).
- Content Detail: The report must comprehensively contain ALL ATPL theoretical examination results (detailing any repeats or failures), CPL and MEIR series passes, and thorough information relating to the candidate's overall performance throughout their training course.
- Modular Course Pilots: Candidates who completed a modular training course are required to have accumulated 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Integrated Course Pilots: Candidates who completed an integrated flying training course must have accumulated a minimum of 70 hours as PIC, as set out in Appendix 3 A, C & D to Part-FCL and AMC1 to Appendix 3 A, C & D.

- The candidate must hold an unrestricted right to live and work permanently within the European Union (EU) and/or the United Kingdom (UK).
