The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Operating Airbus A320 family aircraft as Pilot in Command in accordance with Royal Brunei Airlines' operational standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and service throughout all flight operations.
- Maintaining proficiency and currency on all relevant aircraft systems and operational procedures.
- Fostering a positive and professional working environment within the cockpit and with cabin crew.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5,000 hours total fixed-wing flight time.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot In Command (PIC) on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with current Airbus A320 Type Rating and Instrument Rating.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 6.
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, with a minimum of six months validity remaining from the prospective date of joining Royal Brunei Airlines.
- A valid License Proficiency Check (LPC) as PIC on the Airbus A320 family, with a minimum of six months validity remaining from the prospective date of joining Royal Brunei Airlines.
- Applicants must be under 60 years of age at the time of application.
License Requirements
- Applicants must hold a valid ATPL Licence and Type Rating. While a UK ATPL is preferred, other international licenses will be given due consideration.
Contract Details
- Contract Duration: 24 months, with potential for renewal.
- Base: Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.
- Roster Pattern: Non-commuting.
- Average Flying Hours: Approximately 60-70 hours per month.
