Requirements for Airbus A320 Captains
- A minimum of 5,000+ hours Total Flight Time (fixed wing types only).
- A minimum of 1,000+ hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
- Possession of a valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with current Airbus A320 Type Rating and Instrument Rating.
- English Language Proficiency – Level 6.
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, which must remain valid for at least 6 months from the prospective date of joining Royal Brunei Airlines.
- A valid Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) as PIC on Airbus A320 family aircraft, also valid for at least 6 months from the prospective date of joining Royal Brunei Airlines.
- Candidates must be under 60 years of age at the time of application.
License Requirement
- A valid ATPL Licence and Type Rating are essential. A UK ATPL is preferred, however, other international licences will be given full consideration.

The selection process for this Captain position will involve the following stages:

Contract Details
- Duration of Contract: 24 months, with eligibility for renewal.
- Base: Bandar Seri Begawan, Negara Brunei Darussalam.
- Roster Pattern: Non-commuting.
- Average Flying Hours: Approximately 60-70 hours per month.
