About the Role
Robinson Helicopter Company Inc. (RHC), a leading civil helicopter manufacturer based in Torrance, California, is seeking experienced Flight Instructor Pilots. This full-time, day-shift position involves delivering high-quality flight and ground training on all Robinson helicopter models, reporting to the Vice President of Customer Success.
Responsibilities

Conduct flight and ground instruction in Robinson helicopters (R22, R44, R66).

Assess student performance, provide feedback, and develop personalized training plans.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safety-first approach.

Deliver training according to the established curriculum with high standards of professionalism.

Maintain accurate training records and student progress reports in accordance with company policies and FAA regulations.

Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and Robinson helicopter operational standards.

Collaborate with instructors and staff to promote a cohesive training environment.
Requirements

Minimum of 2000 hours total helicopter flight time.

At least 1000 hours of flight instruction given, with a minimum of 800 hours in Robinson helicopter models (R22, R44, R66).

Commercial Certificate.

FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and CFII for helicopters.

SFAR 73 Instructor endorsement for the R22 and R44.

Current Flight Review endorsement for the R22 and R44.

Current FAA 1st or 2nd class medical certificate.

Strong understanding of FAA regulations, including Part 61, Part 91, and Part 135 operations.

Proven track record of maintaining a safety-first approach in all training and flight operations.
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Spanish or another second language.

An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certificate.
