Pilot in Command - Hawker 400XP
Reynolds Jet is seeking a professional, full-time Pilot in Command to join the Aircraft Management team based at Cincinnati Lunken Municipal Airport (KLUK). The successful candidate will serve as a key member of a three-person flight crew operating a Hawker 400XP, flying approximately 600 hours annually under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
Role Overview
The Pilot in Command holds final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft. This position requires a collaborative team player who is dedicated to flight safety, operational excellence, and delivering a superior level of service to clients. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour driving radius of KLUK airport; this position is not commutable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain full responsibility for safe flight operations (14 CFR § 91.3), including decisions regarding flight delays, cancellations, or diversions.

Direct the activities of the Second-in-Command (SIC) and additional crew members.

Proactively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) by identifying and reporting hazards.

Ensure all flight planning, including fuel, weather, NOTAMs, and weight and balance, complies with CFRs and company procedures.

Perform pre-flight and post-flight duties, including maintenance oversight and flight documentation.

Ensure passenger safety through briefings and maintain high standards for aircraft cleanliness and cabin comfort.

Act as Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and Inflight Security Coordinator (ISC) as required.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the General Operations Manual, FAA regulations, and aircraft flight manuals.
Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:
Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (or Restricted ATP if under 1,500 hours), Multi-engine and Instrument ratings. BE400XP type rating preferred.

Medical:
Valid First-Class medical certificate.

Regulatory:
Valid US Passport and Radio Station License.

Compliance:
Must meet all applicable ICAO standards, pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, and undergo a favorable PRIA background check.
