Engine Instructor
Our client, a prominent player in the aviation industry, is currently seeking a skilled Engine Instructor to join their team in Belgium. This role is pivotal in delivering high-level methodological and technical training focused on inspection, disassembly, and reassembly activities during aircraft engine maintenance and repair, while ensuring adherence to the highest operational and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Deliver practical and technical training to Jet Engine Mechanics and Inspectors regarding inspection, dismantling, and reassembly tasks.

Facilitate the transfer of knowledge, technical expertise, and industry best practices to operational staff.

Ensure that all work instructions and safety procedures are thoroughly understood and strictly implemented.

Provide expert technical support to production teams to guarantee product conformity and process efficiency.

Collaborate with team leaders, operational management, and HR training teams to coordinate and execute practical training plans.

Identify evolving training needs and propose continuous improvements to the training curriculum and processes.

Assess and validate the competencies of trainees in direct collaboration with operational leadership.

Communicate critical technical issues and challenges to the operations department.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in aerospace engineering or aircraft maintenance.

Extensive knowledge of aviation best practices and aircraft engine maintenance principles.

Proven experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) specifically for turbojet engines.

Strong training, coaching, and professional communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and adapt effectively to operational and quality-related requirements.

Experience working within quality management systems in compliance with aviation regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch is considered an asset.
