Aviation Training Facilitator - Shape the Future of Flight
This exciting role presents an opportunity to guide the development of aspiring aviation professionals. As a Training Facilitator, you will play an integral part in delivering the company's approved inflight training programs, ensuring trainees adhere to guidelines and successfully complete all required materials.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging and comprehensive training sessions using published curriculum, incorporating both oral and written examinations.
- Meticulously complete, submit, and maintain all documentation related to training events.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
- Actively participate in internal and external audits, including those conducted by the FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD.
- Attend instructor standardization meetings and briefings to remain current on best practices and industry standards.
- Successfully complete Flight Attendant Training and maintain qualifications by participating in all company-required training initiatives.
- Engage in annual Flight Attendant recurrent and Instructor recurrent training programs.
- Cultivate a positive and supportive learning environment that reflects the company's core values and culture.
- Provide trainees with coaching, leadership, direction, motivation, and supervision.
- Deliver constructive performance appraisals and feedback, implement corrective actions, and document trainee development.
- Offer recommendations regarding trainee effectiveness and employment status.
- Embrace a flexible approach and willingly undertake other duties or special projects as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum of one year of experience in aviation, education, or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Public speaking or instructor experience.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.

- Successful completion of an FAA-required 10-year work history review, criminal background check, and fingerprint check.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid US passport or foreign passport.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to travel in and out of the country.
- Willingness to submit to and pass FAA and company-mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
- Strong language skills, encompassing the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, manuals, and governmental regulations.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to confidently respond to questions from groups of employees and trainees.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address practical challenges and navigate situations with limited standardization.
- Adaptability and the ability to interpret instructions delivered in various formats, including written, oral, diagrammatic, and scheduled.
- Quick thinking and decisive action in all types of emergency situations.
- Sound decision-making skills, aligning with strategic direction and requiring thoughtful consideration.
- Ability to process information rapidly and react positively during unexpected or challenging situations.
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to maintain composure and act appropriately under pressure.
