First Officer Position at Republic Airways

Republic Airways, a leading North American regional airline, seeks a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer to join our team. This crucial role supports the Captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Embraer 170/175 aircraft fleet. Responsibilities:

Actively participate in comprehensive flight planning, utilizing current weather information and adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft airworthiness in accordance with FARs and company standards.
Collaborate with the Captain in meticulous flight planning and fuel management for safe and compliant operation.
Execute safe and precise aircraft operation throughout the assigned duty period, following Captain's instructions and adhering to FARs and company procedures.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems, relevant FARs, and all company manuals, policies, and procedures.
Promptly inform crew and passengers of any weather-related or operational factors impacting the flight.
Accurately complete flight load manifests.
Contribute to on-time performance by assisting the Captain in adhering to all reporting, departure, and turnaround times.
Provide assistance in the efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at the terminal.
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, in compliance with company policies.
Adhere to the company's professional appearance standards and uniform code.
Conduct oneself professionally at all times, upholding the company's Rules of Conduct as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual and other relevant documentation.
Actively pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Captain and the company.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Fulfillment of minimum requirements for an ATP or RATP certificate. ATP written exam preferred.
Adherence to FAA and company minimum age and flight hour requirements for interview and hiring. Candidates meeting interview minimums but not hiring minimums will be considered for hire upon successful completion of the interview process and meeting hiring minimums within six months, provided there are no certificate actions, misdemeanors, or felonies since the interview date, and class acceptance within six months of the interview date.
Prior customer service experience in an aviation environment is highly desirable.
