First Officer

Republic Airways is seeking highly motivated and experienced pilots to join our team as First Officers. As a valued member of our flight crew, the First Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft and delivering an exceptional travel experience for our passengers.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Captain in pre-flight planning, utilizing all relevant weather information and adhering to Company policies, procedures, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections to confirm aircraft airworthiness in accordance with FARs and Company protocols.
Assist the Captain in ensuring the aircraft is properly fueled and the flight is planned to meet all safety and regulatory standards.
Skillfully operate the aircraft under the guidance of the Captain, strictly adhering to FARs, Company procedures, and all safety protocols.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, relevant FARs, operational manuals, and Company policies and procedures.
Keep the Captain informed of any operational factors or weather conditions that may impact the flight.
Communicate effectively with crew members, passengers, air traffic control, and ground personnel to ensure clear and concise information exchange.
Exhibit a commitment to on-time performance by supporting the Captain in achieving timely departures, arrivals, and minimal turnaround times.
Contribute to a positive and professional environment for passengers and crew members, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Company uniform standards.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and conduct as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual, Associate Handbook, and relevant Company policies.
Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Captain and the Company.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Meet or exceed the minimum requirements for an ATP or RATP certificate, with ATP written preferred.
Fulfill the current FAA and Company age and flight hour requirements for interview and hiring.
Proven ability to remain calm, think critically, and respond effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate information in both routine and stressful situations.
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, safety, and providing exceptional customer service.
Adaptability to a dynamic work environment with varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous customer service experience, preferably within the aviation industry.
