KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Northern Pacific Airways Flight Attendant is responsible for overall cabin security whenever passengers are onboard, including during the takeoff, landing and enroute phases of flight. This position ensures the safety and comfort of passengers during the flight, supplying exceptional service excellence in each interaction. Other responsibilities aligned with Northern Pacific Airways Core Values include but are not limited to:

  • Upholding all safety by ensuring all work is carried out per the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) and the Company’s Flight Attendant Manual (FAM).
  • Prior to each flight, perform a thorough cabin pre-flight inspection and ensure that the flight’s Captain/Pilot in Command has been informed of any known discrepancies or safety concerns.
  • Identifying and reporting safety hazards in the work environment or when confronted with an unsafe situation. Promoting a positive Safety Culture with co-workers, following accident prevention procedures, and supporting the organization in compliance with Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Embodying the spirit of connectedness with professional, enthusiastic, and positive energy to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction on each flight and in each interaction.
  • Demonstrating commitment to our passengers by thoroughly delivering important safety requirements essential to an enjoyable flight by performing required safety briefings and ensuring compliance with programs such as Exit Seating and Carry-On Baggage.
  • Showing reliability through calmly and professionally handling stressful situations that may arise, utilizing training techniques and tools to manage each scenario as appropriate.
  • Acting with integrity when following established regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure personal fitness is satisfactory and compliant and that duties will not be impeded.
  • Demonstrating reliability by completing all necessary documentation thoroughly and with care, filing paperwork with the proper department(s) as outlined in Company policies, and ensuring team members have the information needed to perform their duties accordingly.
  • Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, co-workers, and business associates. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, while still performing effectively as a team member, and will work to build and keep a trusting relationship with passengers and fellow team members.

This will be a home-based position transiting from designated USA Gateway Cities for duty.

Qualifications include:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have previous professional experience in a customer service environment; prior experience as a Flight Attendant is highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the position which require the ability to lift and maneuver 20 lbs. on a regular basis and may involve lifting and maneuvering up to 60 lbs., in addition to standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Additionally, you must be able to attend training in all designated locations and commit to the established training schedule.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extreme temperatures.
  • Must have a valid passport, or be able to obtain one prior to completing training, and have no international travel restrictions.
  • Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
