A distinguished Corporate Aviation Team is actively seeking a seasoned Captain to join its ranks in Fayetteville, Arkansas (KFYV). The selected candidate will assume the role of Pilot-in-Command, bearing the ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all assigned flight operations.
This pivotal position requires meticulous adherence to company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. The Captain will be accountable for comprehensive flight planning, precise performance calculations, and the proactive communication of any schedule modifications or flight cancellations. Duties & Responsibilities
- Champion and uphold a robust safety culture aligned with company directives and industry best practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, departmental operating policies, and Standard Operating Procedures as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM).
- Conduct all flight and ground operations with the utmost professionalism and safety, encompassing flight planning, aircraft performance and weight and balance computations, thorough interpretation of weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs, and the development of necessary contingency plans.
- Verify passenger service arrangements are confirmed prior to departure and coordinate any ancillary services required during the course of a trip.
- Confirm that all necessary permits, authorizations, and required documentation are present and accessible onboard before each flight.
- Oversee the meticulous execution of pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections.
- Ensure flight crew members actively monitor fueling operations.
- Provide assistance with the loading of baggage and cargo.
- Communicate any flight delays or cancellations promptly and efficiently.
- Complete all post-trip documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Undertake additional non-flying duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of turbojet flight time.
- CE 525B type rating.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- No chargeable aircraft accidents or incidents.
- Availability for some overnight travel.
- Experience with Garmin 3000 Avionics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in corporate or business aviation flight operations.
- Minimum of 250 hours of flight time in a CE 525B aircraft.
Physical Demands
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Extended periods of sitting are frequently required.
