Description

The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which he/she is assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, policies and procedures.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing aircraft operation.
  • Ensure pre-flight inspections are performed and jet is prepared for flight.
  • Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, at alternate airports and departure points.
  • Prepare and file flight plans as needed.
  • Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts.
  • Make decision to start, delay or cancel flights or deviate from planned route or destination when necessary.
  • Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and storage of company aircrafts.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. and R.D. Offutt Company.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time is preferred (which includes multi-engine hours and turbine hours).
  • Second Class medical and passport required.
  • CE-560XL type rating preferred but not required.
