About the Role

The Manager Cabin Crew is entrusted with leading a dynamic team of Performance Managers to meticulously develop, manage, and evaluate the performance of Cabin Crew, ensuring alignment with the overarching objectives of the company. This crucial leadership position requires providing strategic support to Senior Management, actively identifying, implementing, and analyzing initiatives and processes designed to meet and consistently exceed departmental objectives within a world-class aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and provides expert coaching to a team of Performance Managers, who are accountable for the onboard performance of Cabin Crew.
  • Ensures that inflight safety protocols and service standards are consistently upheld and impeccably represented across all operations.
  • Manages and monitors Cabin Crew performance levels, ensuring that decorum and professional conduct are maintained in strict accordance with established company standards.
  • Evaluates existing in-flight services, safety procedures, and product enhancements, actively assisting in their development to support and achieve core business objectives.
  • Provides comprehensive coaching and strategic guidance to Cabin Crew members, empowering them to achieve their defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and fostering their professional career progression.
  • Engages with relevant internal and external stakeholders to accurately assess training needs and proactively propose targeted training programs as required.
  • Determines appropriate selection criteria for prospective Cabin Crew candidates and strategically develops manpower plans for the entire Cabin Crew department.
  • Establishes robust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring their effective implementation and clear, concise communication to all Cabin Crew members.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this Manager Cabin Crew position is a highly experienced and accomplished professional within the aviation sector, demonstrating exceptional leadership acumen and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. This role demands a strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills and a profound understanding of cabin services and performance management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree, complemented by a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive job-related experience.
  • A minimum of eight (8) to nine (9) years of experience in a Cabin Services Supervisory role or an equivalent capacity, including at least two (2) years in a Managerial position.
  • A degree in Public Relations, Performance Management, or a closely related field from an internationally recognized institution is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Cabin Crew Performance Manager and hands-on flying experience as Cabin Crew with a legacy airline will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated strong command of the English language, coupled with superior Business Communication skills.
  • Exceptional people management and leadership abilities, including the capacity to delegate tasks effectively, provide clear strategic direction, and manage complex workflows. Possesses strong mentoring and coaching skills to motivate teams and drive outstanding results.
  • Exhibits robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, utilizing logical reasoning in identifying, analyzing, and resolving intricate issues.
  • Maintains the highest level of ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and decisive decision-making skills.
  • Must be prepared and willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar, to assume this permanent position.
