Position Overview

Qatar Airways, one of the world's fastest-growing airlines, operates one of the youngest fleets of ultramodern aircraft. As the airline continues to expand its global network to over 150 destinations, it is seeking experienced Type Rated First Officers for its Boeing fleet, including B747, B777, and B787 aircraft.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 1,000 hours of total flight time in a multi-crew, multi-engine environment, including commercial airline experience on a jet with an MTOW of 30,000 kg or higher.
  • Minimum 500 hours of total flight time on one of the following types: B787, B777, B767, B757, B747-400 (400F/-8/-8F), B737NG, or B737MAX.
  • A current ICAO ATPL or Frozen ATPL with a valid instrument rating on the aforementioned types.
  • A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the same authority (must be valid for at least two months after the anticipated start date).
  • Valid ATPL theoretical knowledge results or certificate.
  • Minimum English Language Proficiency of Level 4.
  • Evidence of a flight conducted on the specified aircraft types within the past 12 months.
