Qatar Airways, a rapidly expanding airline with a modern fleet, is seeking experienced Type Rated Captains for Boeing B747, B777, and B787 aircraft. The airline has successfully expanded its global network to over 150 destinations.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 6000 hours of total flight time in multi-crew, multi-engine commercial airline operations on jet aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) of 50,000 kg or higher.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in multi-crew, multi-engine commercial airline operations on jet aircraft with an MTOW of 50,000 kg or higher, or a minimum of 1,000 hours of PIC flight time on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial airline operations on jet aircraft with an MTOW of 50,000 kg or higher and currently operating B777, B787, or B747-400 (400F/-8/-8F) aircraft.
- A minimum of 500 hours of flight time as PIC on a B787, B777, B767, B757, B747-400 (400F/-8/-8F), or B737NG/MAX aircraft.
- A current ICAO ATPL with a valid instrument rating for any of the specified aircraft types and a Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the same authority, valid for a minimum of 2 months after the intended start date.
- A minimum English Language Proficiency level 4.
- The most recent flight experience on any of the specified aircraft types must be within the last 12 months.
