Position Overview

Qatar Airways, one of the fastest-growing airlines globally with an ultramodern fleet, is currently seeking experienced Type Rated First Officers for our Airbus operations. As a member of our flight operations team, the successful candidate will contribute to our mission of connecting travelers to more than 150 destinations worldwide.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for the position of Type Rated First Officer, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 1,000 hours of total flight time in Multi-Crew, Multi-Engine, commercial airline operations on a jet with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of 30,000 kg or higher.
Minimum 500 hours of total flight time on Airbus types (A380, A350, A340, A330, or A320).
Possession of a current ICAO ATPL or Frozen ATPL with a valid instrument rating on the specified aircraft types.
Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the same Authority (valid for a minimum of 2 months beyond the start date).
Valid ATPL Theoretical Knowledge results or certificate.
Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 4.
Recent flight experience: Last flight on specified types must have occurred within the past 12 months.
