The Opportunity
Qatar Airways is actively recruiting experienced Type Rated First Officers for its modern Airbus fleet. This pivotal role is integral to upholding the airline's unwavering commitment to safety, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional passenger experience across its extensive global network. The successful candidate will contribute to a legacy of pioneering achievements and continuous growth.
Key Requirements for Consideration
- A minimum of 1000 hours total flight time, accumulated on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft, with commercial airline experience on a jet with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) of 30,000 kg or higher.
- A minimum of 500 hours total flight time on Airbus types (A380, A350, A340, A330, A320 Family).
- Possession of a current ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or a Frozen ATPL*, accompanied by a valid instrument rating specific to one of the aforementioned Airbus types.
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by the same Authority as the ATPL, with a minimum validity of two months from the anticipated start date.
- Demonstrated English Language Proficiency (ELP) at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
- The candidate's last flight on any of the specified Airbus types must have occurred within the past 12 months.
*For Frozen ATPL holders, valid ATPL Theoretical Knowledge results or certificate are required.
