Our mission to offer all day, every day low fares so more people can fly to more places, more often, is unchanged. Jetstar’s Domestic Cabin Crew in Sydney operate the Airbus 320 and 321 aircraft across our domestic network and exciting short haul international destinations such as Bali and Fiji.
About the role
Our Cabin Crew love working as one team and play an important role in making sure our customers have a safe and wonderful experience onboard. Your duties will include greeting and farewelling our customers, conducting safety checks and briefings, and offering our on-board menu. You will be interacting with a range of different people every day and will build rapport with them quickly.
Being resilient is essential when handling situations such as emergencies and delays. You will be trained in Airbus 320 and 321 aircraft procedures to ensure you can confidently manage emergency situations. As a shift worker with a rotational roster, the lifestyle of a Cabin Crew team member requires an agile and flexible mindset.
Minimum Requirements
18 years of age or older
Recent experience in a customer facing role
Height between 163cm – 186cm or ability to reach 212cm
A valid passport with at least 6 months validity
Commitment to shift work
A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
A valid responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or willingness to obtain
Excellent health and fitness, including the ability to swim and tread water
Permanent resident or Australian citizen
Candidates successful through the screening process will be invited to a Sydney Group Interview in February 2024. Please note, this role is based in Sydney, and you must be willing to live and work from this location. Any relocation or travel will be at your own expense.
