Pilot - OCC Pilot Trainee Programme (m/w/d) - Hannover Airport
A leading aviation organization based at Hannover Airport is seeking a motivated and skilled Pilot to join its OCC Pilot-Trainee Programme. This unique program offers a comprehensive career path, guiding individuals from CPL (IR) / frozen ATPL(A) holders to experienced airline pilots.
This "Best of Both Worlds" program provides the opportunity to optimally develop technical, operational, and flight skills, while gaining extensive experience in both operational control and flight operations.
The first year of the trainee program is dedicated to building fundamental knowledge and skills within the Operations Control Center (OCC). As a future pilot, the individual will gain early insights into the realities of flight operations. After 9-12 months in the OCC, the Type-Rating commences. The pilot will then excel in the air, utilizing both flight talent and operational expertise. This approach fosters collaboration between the OCC and flight operations based on trust and understanding, ultimately driving optimal results.
Responsibilities in the OCC:
- Operative planning and support of flights.
- Flight planning, fuel management, and coordination with airports and handling services.
- Serving as a point of contact for quotation preparation, coordination, and support with clients.
- Crew scheduling and travel planning.
- Handling commercial and administrative tasks related to flights and operations.
Responsibilities in the Cockpit:
- Guaranteed Type-Rating on the C425 Conquest or another aircraft type, after 9-12 months in the OCC.
- Executive charter and air ambulance missions throughout Europe and beyond.
- A stable 7/3 block roster with at least 108 days off per year, providing advance knowledge of free days.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid CPL (IR) with ATPL(A) theory. No prior flight experience required.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Flexibility, a strong service orientation, and commitment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
- Driver's license (Class B).
