Corporate Chief Pilot

Job Summary
The Corporate Chief Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the corporate flight department, ensuring compliance with CAR 604 regulations. He participates in flights as a member of the flight crew.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safe flying and training practices.
- Conduct or assign pilot line indoctrination and flight checks to assess proficiency.
- Oversee crewmember performance, ensuring professional conduct.
- Plan and schedule all pilot training events.
- Review, maintain, and amend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and aircraft publications.
Qualifications:
- College degree in Aviation Piloting or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulation (CAR) 604 related to flight operations.
- Management experience within a CAR 604 or 700 organization.
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a minimum of 8,000 hours of total flying time.
- Transport Canada Category 1 medical certificate.
- Ability to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance and CANPASS.
- Ability to meet TSA requirements for training in the USA.
- Fluency in both French and English is required, including the ability to read, understand, write, and communicate technical documentation and terms in English.
This position requires regular on-site work at the Saint-Hubert location.
