As a Captain with Ponderosa Aviation, you will be instrumental in wildfire suppression efforts as an Air Attack pilot or provide essential Air Ambulance services. The company is committed to providing specialized training, including time in the AC-690, to ensure pilots are well-equipped for these demanding missions. This role offers the opportunity to utilize extensive piloting skills in vital public service operations.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Class rating.
• Instrument Rating.
• Minimum 1500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1200 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) total time.
• Minimum 200 hours Multi-Engine Airplane PIC.
• Minimum 100 hours Fixed Wing PIC within the past 12 months.
• Minimum 500 hours Cross Country PIC.
• Minimum 200 hours PIC in mountainous terrain.
• Minimum 100 hours Night PIC.
• Minimum 50 hours Instrument – in-flight PIC.
• Minimum 75 hours Instrument – actual/simulated.
• Type rating is required.
