Aviation Maintenance Instructor Position at PIA's Hagerstown Campus

PIA's Hagerstown campus seeks a passionate and dedicated Aviation Maintenance Instructor to share their expertise with the next generation of aircraft mechanics. This fulfilling, salary-exempt position offers a rewarding daytime schedule (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM) with no weekend commitments. While teaching experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory; comprehensive instructional training will be provided to successful candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Aviation Maintenance Instructor will be responsible for conducting engaging classroom presentations, providing hands-on laboratory instruction and guidance, managing laboratory equipment and inventory, and evaluating student performance. A comprehensive job description will be furnished during the interview process.

Qualifications and Skills:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
• Minimum three (3) years of verifiable experience in the aviation industry or military aviation.
• Familiarity with computers for utilizing teaching software and email.
• Prior teaching experience is desirable but not required.
