Pier Seven Aviation FZC, a distinguished aviation training provider equipped with both classroom facilities and advanced Flight Simulator Training Devices, is seeking a dedicated Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to join their team at the Sharjah office. Specializing in Initial Type Rating and Recurrent Training for Airbus and Boeing pilots, the organization requires a highly skilled professional to deliver exceptional theoretical training. The successful candidate will ensure trainees acquire the foundational knowledge vital for pilot licenses and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ground training sessions for Initial Type Rating and Recurrent Training Programs on Airbus and Boeing fleets, adhering to aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, GCAA).
- Instruct standard operating procedures using cockpit procedure trainers and other flight training devices.
- Develop, update, and maintain course materials, lesson plans, presentations, and question banks.
- Ensure training delivery complies with regulatory authorities and organizational standards.
- Establish and maintain a highly effective training and learning environment.
- Stay current on changes in aviation regulations and incorporate them into teaching materials.
- Accurately maintain training records and documentation.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new or revised training systems, methods, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with flight instructors and training management to ensure seamless integration between theoretical and practical training.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and teaching effectiveness.
- Perform administrative duties including record keeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, quality assurance, safety, security, and training equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of experience as a ground training instructor specializing in Airbus/Boeing aircraft systems.
- Experience within an Approved Training Organization (ATO) or Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) organization is beneficial.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Comprehensive knowledge and ability to teach aircraft systems, including normal, abnormal, and emergency operating procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented and self-directed approach.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software and systems efficiently.
- Experience working directly with regulators, certification bodies, and other standard organizations.
- Proficiency in the English language, with strong presentation abilities.
- Personal transportation arrangements are required.
- Prior experience instructing Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) subjects at an approved training organization is highly desirable.
- A Certificate of Instructional Techniques or Train the Trainer certification is preferred.
