Specializing in providing comprehensive training for flight deck personnel, airlines, and private users, the facility is equipped with 07 simulator bays, focusing on servicing commercial airlines with narrow and wide-body simulators. With a strong reputation in the ME-NA region, Pier Seven is currently undergoing significant expansion, with a vision to become the preferred training partner for the global pilot community and plans to extend its footprint into the Asia Pacific region.

The Opportunity:

Pier Seven Aviation is seeking highly motivated and experienced A320 Synthetic Flight Instructors (SFI) and Synthetic Flight Examiners (SFE) to join their dynamic training department in Sharjah, UAE. Both Freelance and Permanent positions are available. The organisation is seeking individuals who are passionate about aviation training and possess exceptional skills in communicating technical knowledge and practical experience effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt their instructional style to cater to a diverse international client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive pre and post-flight simulator briefings in a professional manner, adhering to GCAA (UAE) standards.
  • Running simulator sessions strictly in accordance with Approved Training Organisation (ATO), Aircraft Manufacturer, or client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Delivering classroom instruction on aircraft systems.
  • Providing simulator flight instruction for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, and certificates.
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of training courseware to ensure it remains current, accurate, and responsive to client needs.
  • Accurately and comprehensively completing client training records.
  • Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Training Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a GCAA (UAE) licence.
  • A valid SFI/SFE rating with documented experience delivering training on the A320 aircraft within the past two years.
  • A minimum of 1,500 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on the A320 aircraft.
  • Accumulation of at least 3,000 Total Flying hours.
  • English language proficiency at ICAO Level 5 or higher.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent teaching and communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to adapt instructional style to accommodate a diverse global client base.
