First Officer - Embraer 145

Piedmont Airlines, a subsidiary of American Airlines, is seeking qualified First Officers to operate its Embraer 145 (E145) regional jet fleet. This exciting opportunity is based out of crew bases located in Philadelphia, PA, Charlotte, NC, and Harrisburg, PA. The role offers significant career advancement potential, including the ability to carry existing airline longevity for advanced pay scale placement, a clear path to Captain, and a flow-through program to American Airlines mainline.

About the Role

• Operate as a First Officer on Piedmont Airlines' Embraer 145 fleet, delivering scheduled services.
• This position is with a wholly owned regional carrier of American Airlines.
• First Officers are eligible for upgrade to Captain upon achieving 2,500 total flight hours and 1,000 hours of Part 121 operations.
• Captains have the opportunity to flow to American Airlines mainline service after five years of tenure, with compensation at the top of the scale until the flow occurs.

Requirements

• Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating.
• Minimum of 500 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum of 50 hours of multi-engine flight time.
• Minimum of 250 hours of pilot-in-command (PIC) time, or alternatively meet the requirements for a Restricted ATP.
• Hold a valid United States passport or possess valid work authorization for the United States.
• Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Possess a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
• High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• A type rating in a Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
• Current employment in a pilot position is preferred.
