705 First Officer

Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 705 First Officer is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of passengers. The primary mandate of this role is to conduct flight operations with a focus on passenger comfort, safety, and strict adherence to on-time performance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct flights in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.

Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the operation of the flight, including the execution of all cockpit procedures.

Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections.

Execute take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC.

Manage aircraft fueling, as well as the loading, unloading, and securing of cargo and freight.

Maintain and exceed Transport Canada qualification standards for pilots.

Commit to continuous improvement in flying skills and knowledge with the objective of future advancement to the Captain position.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Individual Aeroplane Type Rating (IATRA) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Minimum of 500 hours of total flight time.

Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.

Valid Category 1 Medical.

Fluency in English with effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary transportation security clearances and authorizations.

Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.

Working Conditions
