Professional Pilot Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Pilot to join our aviation team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to safety, excellence in customer service, and the ability to operate within a dynamic aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Conduct flights with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.

Monitor weather conditions and applicable NOTAMs, and determine precise fuel and oil requirements.

Perform accurate aircraft weight and balance calculations.

Review, amend, and accept Operational Flight Plans (Type B 705 operation).

Execute comprehensive pre-flight inspections prior to every departure.

Load, unload, and secure cargo and freight as required.

Maintain joint flight watch procedures with the flight dispatcher (Type B 705 operation).

Complete all post-flight duties, including recording flight times, logging defects, and confirming aircraft location when away from base.

Maintain and exceed Transport Canada qualification standards for pilots.

Perform additional operational duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience, and Certifications

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.

Possession of a Category 1 Medical.

Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.

Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is required; 500 hours on DHC-8 is preferred.

Previous airline experience is considered an asset.

Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.

Fluency in English with effective verbal and listening comprehension skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary transportation security clearances and authorizations.
