Pilot Position - Lear 45XR

Pentastar Aviation seeks a highly qualified and experienced Pilot to join our team based at Willow Run Airport (KYIP) in Ypsilanti, MI.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of a Lear 45XR, operating within a 14 CFR Part 91 business aviation environment. As PIC, the individual will share command duties with a qualified Second-In-Command (SIC) pilot. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers while executing timely aircraft operations.

The PIC, in close collaboration with the SIC, is responsible for adherence to all FAA regulations during both flight and ground operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, fostering a cohesive flight deck environment, and collaboratively making informed decisions regarding potential delays, rerouting, or cancellations.

In addition to flight duties, the Pilot may be called upon to perform general department tasks, including but not limited to attending crew meetings and assisting with cabin re-stocking.

Qualifications:

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Minimum of 3,000 hours of Total Flight Time
• Valid US Passport
• Prior experience in a multi-crew environment
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related field preferred
• Ability to accommodate a varied and changing work schedule
• Prior Lear 40 series experience preferred
• FSI or CAE-trained Lear 45 current and qualified applicants will be highly favored

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Pilots in this role can anticipate flying approximately 275 hours per year, with 125 days of annual travel.

Location Requirement:

Candidates must reside within a two-hour radius of Willow Run Airport (KYIP).
