Pentastar Aviation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Challenger 604 aircraft based at Oakland County International Airport (PTK) in Waterford, MI. This full-time position involves operating under 14 CFR Part 91 regulations, joining an existing two-pilot crew to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
About the Role

The Pilot in Command holds delegated responsibility for the safety of passengers and crew, ensuring comfortable and timely aircraft operations.

Responsibilities include strict adherence to FAA Regulations, determining flight routes, speeds, takeoff, and landing times as required.

When not actively flying, the PIC will engage in essential aircraft-related duties such as comprehensive preflight planning, accurate aircraft performance calculations, completion of initial and recurrent training, and expense processing.

This role is based in Waterford, MI, requiring candidates to reside within two hours of the location.

Crew members can anticipate an annual flight time of approximately 300 hours.
Qualifications

ATP Certificate (preferred).

Commercial Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings, coupled with prior turbojet experience (required).

For non-ATP Certificate holders, ATP/CTP course completion (preferred).

Minimum of 4000 hours of Total Flight Time.

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Prior business aviation experience (required).

Ability to manage dynamic work schedules.

Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA First Class medical certification.
