PayPal is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Pilot to join their team in San Jose, California. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring the transport of executives and clients. The position encompasses detailed flight planning, aircraft inspections, regulatory adherence, air traffic control coordination, emergency management, and prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.

About the Role

The Corporate Pilot will operate company aircraft in strict accordance with aviation regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive flight plans, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, coordinating with air traffic control, managing in-flight emergencies, and ensuring passenger well-being and satisfaction. This position involves approximately 90% travel.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5,000 hours of total flying time.
• A minimum of 2,000 hours of turbine/multi-engine time.
• An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification, which can be either unrestricted or restricted.
• A First-Class Medical Certificate issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration.
• Willingness to undertake approximately 90% travel.
