Pacific Coastal Airlines seeks a B1900 First Officer for its Vancouver operations at YVR Airport South. About the Role

The B1900 First Officer will join Pacific Coastal Airlines' seasoned flight crew, contributing to the airline's regular service network within British Columbia. The role requires availability for travel away from home, including overnights, and flexibility to work varying shifts. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic operational environment that may involve routes to destinations such as Tofino, Bella Bella, and Bella Coola.

Requirements

• Minimum total flight time: 500 hours.
• Possession of a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with IATRA or an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), with IATRA completed within the last 18 months.
• Current multi-engine Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) rating.
• Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
• Eligibility to travel to and from the United States without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be a Canadian citizen, Canadian permanent resident, or hold a valid work permit for Canada.
• A bond applies under the Crew Practices Manual.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card.

Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates with a type rating and multi-crew, multi-engine, IFR, and/or turbine experience in operations classified under 600/702/703/704/705 or military backgrounds.
• Flight Instructor candidates with 1,000+ hours of total time experience will be considered.
