Role Overview:

The Manager Cabin Crew Services is entrusted with leading and overseeing all facets of the Cabin Crew department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and unparalleled customer service delivery across PNG Air's network. This leadership position demands strategic oversight, operational excellence, and a commitment to fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide decisive leadership and effective management for all cabin crew operations, prioritising safety protocols, compliance with aviation regulations, and the delivery of outstanding passenger service.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and liaise effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to uphold operational standards and meet all regulatory mandates.
  • Directly manage departmental functions including performance evaluations, training programs, crew rostering, and strategic resource allocation for the Cabin Crew team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, all relevant aviation safety regulations, and established quality assurance standards.
  • Actively promote and embed a strong culture of safety, security, and continuous process improvement throughout the Cabin Crew operations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Possession of proven managerial experience specifically within a Cabin Crew leadership capacity is essential.
  • Extensive professional experience gained within the aviation industry is required, with a preference for experience directly within cabin services.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of aviation safety regulations, standard operational procedures, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.
  • Exhibition of exceptional communication abilities and strong people management skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in aviation management, hospitality, or a related field are considered advantageous, though not strictly mandatory.
