Opportunity Overview

PAS is actively recruiting suitably qualified A320 First Officers to join Fiji Airways. This is an exceptional opportunity to transition into a wide-body role, joining the team as an A350/A330 First Officer upon successful selection and completion of a Command Upgrade Course (CCQ).

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2,000 hours as a First Officer on A320, A340, or A380.
  • Last flight on type ideally within the last 12 months.
  • Current and valid ICAO ATPL.
  • Current Class One Medical certificate issued by the same authority as the ATPL.
  • A330/A350 Type Rating via CCQ. PAS can assist in securing CCQ conversion.
  • No criminal record.
  • No record of flight accidents or incidents.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Commuting Options: Access to commuting on confirmed tickets within the airline network.
  • Roster Options:
    • Standard Rotation: 20 days on, 10 days off.
    • Optional Rotation: 18 days on, 12 days off (utilising 2 days of Annual Leave per month).
  • Domicile: Nadi, Fiji domicile option available.
  • Salary Structure:
    • Year 1: $9,722 NZD per month
    • Year 2: $11,547 NZD per month
    • Year 3: $12,583 NZD per month
  • Allowances: Accommodation allowance of $2,240 NZD per month.
  • Flight Duty Pay: Commences after 12 months at $10 NZD per hour.
  • Excess Flying Pay: For block hours exceeding 70 per month, starting from $173 NZD per hour.
  • Annual Leave: 24 days.
  • Sick Leave: 12 days per annum.
  • Contract: 1 to 3-year auto-renewing contract (initially 1 year due to work permit status).
  • Staff Travel: Comprehensive staff travel benefits for the pilot, spouse, and immediate dependants from day one, with additional wider staff travel benefits available.
