PSA Airlines, a subsidiary of American Airlines, is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technical Pilot (MTP) for its operations based in Charlotte, NC. The role involves operating Part 91 flights, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and contributing to the enhancement of flight operations policies and procedures.

About the Role

The Maintenance Technical Pilot will operate Part 91 flights safely and in accordance with company manuals and FAA regulations. This supervisory position plays a key role in improving PSA Airlines' flight operations policies and procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring crew compliance, conducting preflight inspections, and overseeing the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and display working knowledge of FAA requirements, company policies, and departmental procedures.
• Previous experience as a PSA Captain with Part 121 line experience.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a First-Class Medical certificate.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs prior to training.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. must be demonstrable upon hire.

Qualifications

• First-Class Medical.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Previous experience as a PSA Captain with Part 121 line experience.
