Position Summary:
The Supervisor of Cadet Programs will assist the Manager of Pilot Recruiting and Director of Human Resource and Talent Services in executing the Pilot Cadet Program Strategy. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of cadet engagement, recruitment, and hiring, as well as supervising Pilot Mentors, Ambassadors, MSA Cadets, and Cadet Recruiters.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead cadet pipeline development programs and establish school relationship strategies to create sustained candidate sources through partnerships.

Grow the Cadet Program population through enhanced engagement activities and outreach.

Identify flight schools and universities for partnership within the Cadet Program.

Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to engage the candidate pool and develop follow-up action plans.

Identify, plan, and attend networking activities, including career fairs, industry expos, school cadet events, and mentor events.

Interview qualified candidates for pathway program pipelines.

Proactively maintain engagement programs to retain and convert Cadets, Sr. Cadets, and CFIs to PSA’s First Officer Training.

Analyze recruiting trends, best sources, and recruiting metrics to enhance pathway programs.

Develop best practices to drive external recruiting initiatives across all pilot groups.

Train, mentor, and supervise Cadet Recruiters.

Determine training programs for Pilot Mentors and Ambassadors as needed.

Create communication plans and accountability methods for Lead Pilot Mentor, Pilot Mentors, and Ambassadors.

Ensure team members accurately update applicant tracking systems with requisite and candidate status updates.

Attend recruiting meetings, share knowledge and skills, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Oversee the onboarding process and transition from the Cadet Program to PSA First Officer initial training.

Support the school and student contractual process with the Manager of Pilot Recruiting.

Support weekly metrics with the Systems and Support Team by extracting necessary data.

Participate in special projects as assigned.

Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable external regulations.

Provide daily/weekly leadership to the Recruiting Team on the execution of Pilot Cadet Recruiting Activities.

Provide daily and weekly updates on staff performance, recruiting obstacles, wins, and issues; support requested data for accurate metrics collection.

Provide candidate/requisite information to the Recruiting Associate/Recruiter for administrative support in scheduling, preboarding, and onboarding.

Support Human Resources in the facilitation of new MSA Cadet hires through Day 1 Orientation.

Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

Qualifications:
Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
3-5 years of high volume, program recruiting experience.
-
1-2 years of leadership experience within recruiting programs.
-
Proven track record of success leading, mentoring, and/or training recruiting staff.
-
Proven track record of success building and managing stakeholder relationships throughout each phase of the recruiting process; a customer service orientation is essential.

Experience utilizing behavioral and/or investigative interviewing techniques.
-
Demonstrated ability in creative sourcing and talent attraction; ability to build a talent pipeline and bench.

Exposure to legal and compliance aspects of Recruiting/HR.

Extensive knowledge of social networking platforms, online communities, conferences, and other sourcing channels.

Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, CRM tools, and virtual recruiting tools; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment and meet deadlines in an aggressive growth environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor is essential, especially during uncomfortable situations and confrontations.

Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Authorization to work in the U.S. must be demonstrated if hired.
Preferred:

2-5 years of program recruiting experience.
-
Experience recruiting and selecting in a high-volume recruiting environment.

Experience with recruiting relationship sales.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This is a supervisory position.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines, and filing cabinets.
