Eligibility Requirements

• Possession of a Private Pilot Certificate.
• Current enrollment as a flight student or active Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
• No more than three check ride failures.
• No history of accidents or incidents attributed to pilot negligence as determined by the NTSB.
• Ability to obtain:
  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • Valid Passport
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
• Compliance with ATP or restricted ATP hour and qualification requirements.
  • R-ATP eligible candidates (1000 or 1250 hours) must have a maximum of 700 flight hours.
  • ATP eligible candidates (1500 hours) must have a maximum of 1000 flight hours.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Interview Process

The comprehensive interview process is structured in three stages:

1. HR Interview: Initial assessment for Cadet candidacy.
2. Technical Evaluation: In-depth evaluation for Senior Cadet candidacy.
3. Captain Review Board and Letter of Commitment: Final stage for Cadet Instructor candidacy.
