Captain - Force Multiplier Division

PAL Aerospace, a global leader in aerospace and defence, invites applications for the position of Captain within its Force Multiplier (FM) division. FM, an on-demand intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) division operating from Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, utilizes modified DHC-8 special-mission aircraft. These aircraft are owned, maintained, and operated by PAL Aerospace, a recognized pioneer in airborne surveillance and special mission aircraft operations.

This exciting opportunity offers qualified candidates the chance to join a world-class team providing crucial ISR services to military, government, and civilian clients globally. The role involves rotational crew assignments, requiring frequent travel, both domestically and internationally, but without the necessity of permanent relocation. Successful candidates will thrive in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively within a close-knit team to ensure mission success.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of long- and medium-range surveillance aircraft within the Force Multiplier division.
• Maintaining a high level of operational readiness for deployments across Canada and internationally.
• Contributing to a collaborative and highly professional team environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4000 hours total flight time, including 500 hours on DHC-8 aircraft.
• 1500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time on Dash 8 or similar aircraft.
• 1000 hours of experience in Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) or Special Missions operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances.
• Demonstrated ability to travel frequently, including international travel.
• Willingness to participate in rotational duty assignments.
• Military experience is considered a significant asset.
