Role Summary
The successful candidate will be entrusted with providing comprehensive flight instruction to private pilot students, meticulously adhering to the highest safety and training standards stipulated by EASA and Ostseeflug Air Services. This pivotal role demands a steadfast commitment to educational excellence and a proactive, student-centric approach to flight training development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting PPL(A) flight training in strict accordance with EASA regulations, approved syllabi, and company operational procedures.
- Delivering didactically sound, detailed, and highly engaging theoretical and practical flight instruction.
- Fostering a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment that maximizes student engagement and success.
- Thoroughly evaluating student progress, providing clear, constructive feedback, and meticulously documenting performance.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date training records and all necessary documentation as required by aviation authorities and company policy.
- Adhering rigorously to all operational safety procedures, company standards, and best practices in aviation instruction.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- License: A valid EASA Flight Instructor (FI) License is an absolute prerequisite.
- Medical: Possession of a current EASA Class 2 Medical Certificate is required.
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
- German Language: Excellent knowledge and fluency in the German language are considered essential for effective communication and instructional delivery within the local operational environment.
- Type Rating: A specific aircraft type rating is not required for this position; comprehensive training on the company's fleet aircraft will be provided by Ostseeflug Air Services.
- Experience: Proven and demonstrable experience as a PPL(A) Flight Instructor is expected, accompanied by a strong track record of successful student progression and achievement.
