   Position Summary:
  
 
 
  The First Officer will assist and report to the Captain on all phases of a flight or series of flight. The Captain and First Officer are jointly responsible for the safety, passenger satisfaction and regulatory compliance of the flight or series of flights.
 
 
  
   Essential Functions:
  
 
 
  Overall Responsibility: Responsible to work in concert with the Captain to assure the safety of the passengers, the crewmembers, any baggage or cargo, and the aircraft.

   When the First Officer is also a Company Captain, assigned as First Officer, they shall have equal authority to suspend flight operations due to unsafe conditions or circumstances.
  
 
 
  
   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

   Thoroughly knowledgeable in JCAB regulations, company's General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other instructions pertinent to assigned duties.

   Must have ability to interact with Clients and determine if their needs are being met as well as to help resolve any issues with a friendly, helpful demeanor.
