Corporate Pilot - Nutrien Flight Operations
Nutrien is seeking a seasoned Corporate Pilot to join its Flight Operations team in Chicago, IL. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, maintaining high standards of in-flight service, and upholding the department’s safety management system. The role requires a mid-senior level professional with extensive aviation experience and a commitment to excellence.
About the Role

Ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, ground personnel, and the aircraft.

Operating aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations, company operating manuals, and manufacturer limitations.

Conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections.

Actively participating in the department’s safety management system.

Maintaining aircraft readiness through cleaning and stocking.

Monitoring weather and communicating necessary flight plan adjustments to passengers.

Responding effectively to environmental changes and emergencies.

Upholding operational integrity of the flight department.

Providing in-flight services, including the handling of alcohol and catering.

Lifting up to 50 pounds.

Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of professional aviation experience.

FAA ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) License.

Minimum total flight time of 4,000 hours.

Minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Minimum of 1,000 hours of jet experience.

Minimum of 500 hours in a multi-crew cockpit environment.

Experience within a Corporate Flight Department.

Experience flying super mid-size/large jets and internationally is a strong asset.

Currency/experience on Citation Sovereign is considered beneficial.

Possession of an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Ability to cross international borders.
-
No incidents or accidents under the FARs.
-
No convictions that would prevent holding a driver’s license or ATPL.
