NovaJet | First Officer

NovaJet, a distinguished Canadian charter and aircraft management operator, is seeking a First Officer to operate the Bombardier Challenger 3500 from its Halifax, Canada base. This role supports a dedicated, long-term client and involves a stable three-pilot crew operation.

About the Role

The First Officer will be responsible for operating the Bombardier Challenger 3500 aircraft on charter missions, contributing to a stable three-pilot crew structure for a valued client. This position offers robust professional support through NovaJet's 24/7 Operations Control Center, ensuring efficient and safe flight operations. Key duties include coordinating with the Operations Control Center, executing professional flight planning, and maintaining compliance with Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations and Group I requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
• Preference for 500 hours of turbine flight time.
• Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL-A).
• Valid Category I medical certificate.
• Group I Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) rating.
• Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) security pass.
• Completion of a satisfactory criminal record check.
• Ability to secure Transport Security Administration (TSA) approval to commence training.
• Valid Canadian passport.

Qualifications

• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL-A).
• Non-type-rated candidates will be considered.
• Experience on the CL3500 (Challenger 3500) is not a prerequisite.
