The Opportunity: First Officer Positions Across Europe
The Pilot Talent Pool is currently accepting applications for prospective First Officer positions. Qualified candidates accepted into the pool will be considered for potential employment based on operational demand. Prospective bases include strategic locations across the Nordics and Europe: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, and Spain.
Mandatory Professional Requirements for Pilot Talent Pool Entry
Applicants must meticulously review the following prerequisites before submission. All candidates are strictly required to possess the legal right to live and work unrestricted within the EU/EEC region, hold an unrestricted passport, maintain an English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 5 or higher, and successfully pass a mandated 5-year security check with a clean criminal record.
Requirements for Type Rated First Officers (B737)
- Valid EASA ATPL or CPL License supplemented by completed ATPL theoretical examinations.
- Current EASA Medical Class 1 certificate.
- Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience specifically on the Boeing 737 type (Type Rating must be current or have been held on an EASA license).
- Current Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR), preferably not expired more than 12 months prior.
Requirements for Non-Type Rated First Officers
- Valid EASA ATPL or CPL License supplemented by completed ATPL theoretical examinations.
- Current EASA Medical Class 1 certificate.
- Completed Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT) and Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course (unless the candidate holds or has previously held a multi-pilot Type Rating under EASA).
- Current Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR), preferably not expired more than 12 months prior.
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time (or 800 hours total time for military-background pilots).
- Minimum 500 hours accumulated on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft operations.
The Selection Process

Assessment Day
Qualified applicants receive an exclusive invitation to attend a comprehensive Assessment Day. This rigorous evaluation session includes:
- A detailed company presentation.
- Participation in a structured group exercise.
- A formal 2:1 interview with management/HR.
- A rigorous simulator session, where the candidate is evaluated in the roles of both Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring.
Outcome and Holding Pool
- Candidates are informed of the final assessment outcome shortly after the Assessment Day concludes.
- Unsuccessful candidates are encouraged to reapply after a mandatory 12-month deferral period.
- Successful candidates receive a positive outcome and are formally placed into the holding pool, where they await a potential employment offer, contingent upon the airline’s operational demand.

State of Licence Issue (SOLI) Policy
