Cabin Crew Member - Alicante

Norwegian is seeking dedicated individuals to join the team as permanent Cabin Crew members based in Alicante, Spain. Successful candidates will participate in a comprehensive training course scheduled between November and February to join a professional network of 2,500 cabin crew members.

The Role

As a Cabin Crew member, the selected candidate will ensure passenger safety and provide exceptional service. The position requires a high level of responsibility, including the ability to remain calm under pressure, perform in diverse situations, and maintain a focus on the passenger experience. This role requires flexibility, as it involves long days, rotating 24/7 shifts, weekends, public holidays, and work during peak periods.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude. Key requirements include:

  • Minimum age of 20 years.
  • Height of at least 160 cm or the ability to reach 210 cm on tiptoes.
  • Swimming proficiency.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Completion of upper secondary school (academic or practical track) or equivalent; relevant service experience may compensate for education in some cases.
  • Possession of a European unrestricted passport with visa-free entry to all destinations.
  • Valid work permit for Spain.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire drug and alcohol test.
  • Willingness to reside within 90 minutes of the Alicante base.
  • Specific grooming standards: No tattoos on the face or neck; tattoos on hands or behind ears must not exceed 1.5 cm.
  • Preferred: Hold a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) and a valid medical certificate.

Mandatory Pre-Employment Requirements

If selected, candidates must obtain the following to finalize their employment:

  • An approved medical certificate, including successful intoxication and alcohol testing.
  • A cleared background check for the issuance of an airport admission card.
  • Successful completion of the Norwegian cabin crew training course.
