The Opportunity: Boeing 737 First Officer

Norwegian is actively seeking highly skilled and motivated Boeing 737 First Officers to join its team on a permanent contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Boeing 737 aircraft, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company procedures, and upholding Norwegian's commitment to exceptional passenger service and flight safety.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

This role is open to Type Rated First Officers who possess the following qualifications and experience:

State of Licence Issue (SOLI) Requirement

In alignment with company policy, prospective candidates for this position are required to hold or be in the process of transferring their State of Licence Issue (SOLI) to either Norway, Sweden, or Denmark. This policy aims to enhance operational efficiency and reduce company costs. Candidates are kindly requested to initiate this transfer process prior to the signing of an employment contract, should they not already possess a Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish license. Norwegian appreciates understanding and cooperation with this essential requirement during the application process.

Application Process

Interested candidates are invited to submit an application through the Norwegian talent pool. The structured recruitment process is designed to identify the best talent and typically involves the following stages:

  1. Application Submission: Applicants submit their application and receive a confirmation email.
  2. Application Review: Norwegian's recruitment team carefully reviews applications, assessing skills, knowledge, and motivation to ensure compliance with minimum requirements.
  3. Assessment Day Invitation: Qualified candidates will receive an invitation to an Assessment Day held in Barcelona at BAA Training in the upcoming weeks.
  4. Assessment Day Activities: The day will comprise a comprehensive company presentation, a group exercise, a 2:1 interview, and a simulator session covering both Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Monitoring (PM) roles.
  5. Outcome Notification: Candidates will be notified of the outcome shortly after the Assessment Day. Those who do not receive a positive outcome are encouraged to reapply after 12 months. Successful candidates will be placed in a holding pool and may receive a job offer based on operational demand.
