Pay range : 9-10 ($84,000 to $138,700)

About this position:

The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of NorthWestern Energy aircraft. The Corporate pilot will act with integrity to maintain the trust of stakeholders. The Corporate Pilot will coordinate passenger requests, prepare the aircraft for flight, and perform other duties as assigned by the NorthWestern Energy Chief Pilot.

About this job:

  • Operate the corporate Lear 75 in a safe, professional manner
  • Perform thorough flight planning for each segment to include aircraft performance, fuel requirements, weather, and airport conditions
  • Accomplish pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft is prepared for flight
  • Comply with all FAA Regulations pertaining to the operation of the aircraft
  • Complete yearly training to maintain proficiency
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance actions performed on the aircraft
  • Ensure company standards are maintained by keeping aircraft cleaned, stocked, and ready for flight
  • Coordinate within flight department to ensure passenger requests are met on each flight segment
  • Assist the Chief Pilot with creating and maintaining the company aircraft schedule
  • React quickly and appropriately to environmental changes and emergencies
  • Ensure operational integrity of flight department
  • Must live within 30 miles of aircraft base of operation or at a service territory location within 60 miles of aircraft base of operation
  • Perform other duties as directed by Chief Pilot to contribute to the success of the flight department

  • Must have an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a minimum of 750 multi-engine turbine flight hours
  • Demonstrate and maintain an exemplary safety record
  • Four-year college degree required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Valid US Passport and ability to travel internationally when required
