New Orleans Aerial Tours & Flight Training LLC (NOAT&FT) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Flight Instructor/Ground Instructor to join our dynamic team. About the Role:
The Flight Instructor/Ground Instructor will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of aviators by providing exceptional flight and ground instruction in accordance with NOAT&FT and FAA regulations and procedures. This multifaceted position also involves developing engaging course content, ensuring student success, and participating in the company's thriving aerial tour operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction:
- Deliver engaging and effective flight and ground instruction adhering to FAA regulations and NOAT&FT's approved Training Course Outline.
- Cultivate a strong safety culture by ensuring students understand and adhere to NOAT&FT's Safety Program.
- Meticulously maintain student training records, logbooks, and computer records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Proactively monitor student progress, promptly address any training delays, and facilitate timely course completion.
- Actively participate in administrative, standardization, in-service training, and instructor development meetings.
Tour Operations:
- Safely operate aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR Part 91 regulations while conducting aerial tours, photo flights, and discovery flights.
- Provide clients with an unforgettable experience by delivering professional, courteous, and informative service.
- Prioritize safety, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for every passenger.
Qualifications:
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificates are required.
- A minimum of 250 hours of dual given flight time is mandatory.
- A current and valid FAA Certified Ground Instructor certificate or an equivalent issued by ICAO is required.
- Proven experience developing computer-based training courseware is essential.
- A strong understanding of FAR Part 141 regulations is crucial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with students, colleagues, and clients.

Compensation:
This is a full-time, hourly position. Compensation is based on NOAT&FT's hourly flight and ground pay schedules and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. A salary may be offered to highly qualified candidates.
