Flight Attendant
NetJets, a global leader in private aviation for over 60 years, seeks a dedicated Flight Attendant to provide exceptional air transportation experiences, upholding an unwavering commitment to safety and personalized service. This role is the face of the NetJets Large Cabin, delivering both secure travel and a superior inflight service experience to every Owner and passenger. The Flight Attendant will act as an inflight chef, service provider, and safety professional, maintaining a consistently professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant is accountable for the safety and well-being of all Owners and passengers, adhering to the Flight Attendant Manual, service procedures, and standard operating procedures. This includes performing preflight inspections, greeting passengers, delivering safety briefings, and providing expert knowledge of all onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort features. Additional duties include:
- Procuring catering from external sources when required.
- Providing in-flight service, including handling alcohol, serving meals, preparing beds, and adhering to specific owner preferences.
- Ensuring proper stowage of cabin baggage.
- Accommodating flights with pets and passengers who smoke.
- Collaborating effectively within a team and complying with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Acting as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival to departure.
- Communicating cabin maintenance issues to the Pilot in Command.
- Completing all necessary paperwork for inventory management, passdowns, and crew reports.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary skills preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service, culinary, service, or aviation is beneficial.
- Exceptional verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in personal computing, particularly MS Office Suite.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet specific aircraft body size dimensions.
- Ability to work varied hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest periods to prepare for flight duty.
- Must be able to work up to fourteen hours a day, for up to eight days, across different time zones.
- Ability to be away from home for extended periods.
- Must secure appropriate airport and customs security badges.
- Must pass TSA background screening.
- Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
- Must have a valid state driver's license.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Service-oriented with a professional appearance and the ability to make a positive impression.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills under pressure.
- Ability to make quick decisions with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
- Comfortable working around animals, including handling during flights.
- Must be able to accommodate flights for owners who smoke.
- Must maintain Flight Attendant Certification and FAA requirements post-hire.
- Must complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
